Two More Weeks

It is only two more weeks until I move out of my parents house and into an apartment and on my own for the very first time. I am very, very scared. This is genuinely the worst anxiety I have ever had about anything. I am sad I will have to leave my mom. She is my best friend and it will hurt me to not be able to see her everyday or get excited when she comes home after work and I'm home to welcome her, but that's a apart of growing up I suppose and it is about time I got my own life. I'm not as afraid about school anymore. I have faith that if I work hard it's not going to be as hard as my brain is imagining it is going to be. I got the scholarship, though! So I don't have to worry about figuring out how I'm going to pay for it. That's a huge burden off of me for the time being.
In probably the best news yet I am 204lbs now. That is a 46lb weight loss so far and I am 4lbs from making it under 200 which is so exciting. 46lbs ago I didn't imagine I could stick with it this far, but i've gotten a good routine down and I am just trying hard not to backslide. Even when I do, though, I just imagine being 250 again and it makes me never want to go back there, and I imagine what 150 is going to feel like and I know I want to make it there.
I hope all is well for everyone else. I am a terrible friend for not keepng in touch and being so absent sometimes! It doesn't help that the email notifications are hit and miss. I will do better! Have a great week!

Amazing job on the weight loss! As for living on your own, it\'s a bit hard at first but it gets easier. When I went to college (USC) it was just one bus ride from my mom\'s to school. I moved out anyway and lived in a nice house with 7 other women (huge 5 bedroom house) and it was nice. It was hard getting along with everyone all the time, but if you are living alone it\'s still hard. You might get lonely. Message me if you want, and I can give you my phone number to call me in those hard times. *hugs* I know you can do it!
