Two months and flying!
Well...two full months and still going very well. I quit drinking four days before the first anniversary of my mother's death here in my home. My mother's beloved Phillies won the World Series! I think she has something to do with all of this. Especially the part about her Phillies! Talk about angels in the outfield! Anyway, still on my mostly raw, mostly vegetarian diet. Still working on my PH. And I'm feeling great! There is a lot of stress around here right now. On November 8th we are hosting a luncheon in Chicago for my husband's mom's 80th birthday. Invitees include several wealthy, high society people, and I am organizing everything. My husband's job is always stressful and he's working from home at the moment. My husband's friend from college...a magnificant guitar player who has played with James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, David Crosby, etc. is down on his luck at the moment and coming to stay with us for two weeks. I've spoken with him...great guy...but I've never met him. (TWO WEEKS!!!) Both boys are coming home for Thanksgiving. A cousin who is going to graduate school is coming for Thanksgiving. Randy (my husband's friend) is going to be here for Thanksgiving. My niece and her husband and new dog are coming for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving will be held, as is usual, at my brother and sister-in-law's house, at my s-i-l isn't happy about the number of people we're bringing. The list goes on, but I'm happy and gratefull and will do fine I'm sure.

I have been to one Thanksgiving when I lived in NewZealand, my boyfriend at the time had a mate in the Marines, so the American Embassy put on a dinner, it was just surperb, also managed to be invited to the Embassy Ball, my boyfriend was the photograher.for the evening ,now that was an experience, all those Marines in uniform, I was in heaven, LoL. but I only had eyes for my Kiwi boyfriend at the time( of course).
My little bird is a Cockateil , yellow and grey, will post a photo later, he is a checky little fella, but we love him .that reminds me, he is due to come out of his cage.
You are sounding very happy, that makes me smile : )
Hugs to you Susan ... Lorri
Hey Lorri...wish I had seen this BEFORE Thanksgiving...LOL. Randy is a complete mess and a complete joy. He stayed with us until just before Christmas...and is coming back to live here for a while until he gets himself back on track. He is newly divorced, very broken, and a musical genius. Ah the music the reverberated through this house!!
Cheers hugs to you my friend
