Two ho ho's to go,pax domini sit semper vobiscum
Good morning journal, once again I return for our morning ritual of putting my thoughts and ramblings into words;the time is 8:05am,and I am awake. The same dog as yesterday roused me again today, and, the same dog has now returned to the bedroom to sleep with the pack again;nothing really changes much in our lives. What shall we chat about this morning?,I have no idea whatsoever,so I will continue to type until whatever is to be revealed decides to show itself in words. This morning outside is dry at least, yesterday having poured with rain the entire day,it is mild, with the softness of light that heralds every new day;night quietly succumbing to the grey of dawn with the merest of protestations. The aftermath of the storms of yesterday still clinging to branches and plant life, dripping slowly, heavy with dew, onto sodden green surfaces, and turning what was lush garden in summer to cloying patches of mud.I miss my garden in winter,it becomes a non-welcoming,barren sort of no man's land, merely providing a means of access to the place where I live;whereas in the summer time,it is an oasis of welcome and color, nature's picture frame,it cradles my home in the center, and creates the illusion that it has been there since the very beginning of time.I love the various smells and sensations after a storm, every breath seems sharper, more life giving;each inhalation crisp and positively zinging with energy, rocketing through the airways and powering the lungs with a hybrid infusion of jet fuel and menthol, and removing the necessity for inhalers and artificial aids of any kind for a brief, but heavenly, nanosecond of time. The feeling of being young again, free of pain, and unencumbered by the ravages of age and disease,is like a sensation of regeneration and rebirth;and for that short,God given moment in space and time,I am whole again.
I am tired this morning, but I am content, and with contentment,I have a little peace in my soul, and I am grateful;pax domini sit semper vobiscum;may the peace of the Lord be always with you;that is my wish for everyone, for when one has even a little peace, like me today,it is my human nature to want other sufferers of physical or mental illnesses, those who grieve, those who despair, and those who suffer in silence,to share my peace, and know that they remain firmly in my thoughts and my prayers.May God bless us all, wherever we may be this Christmas, with a little love, contentment and peace;but most of all,may He grant us hope, for with hope,we have a spiritual springboard which can propel us upward, even in our darkest hour;Merry Christmas everyone, whoever you are.Till tomorrow then journal, pax vobiscum.

Scott, I hope God blesses you in untold ways, and I hope that writing in your journal gives you peace. I know that my blog helps me cope, and allows me to smile, and be cheerful even when I don\'t want to be. So I know the importance of writing, of spilling your guts. Please take care, and be safe. -- Bill
