Two days late

So were two days late without any treatment this month I though for sure it would be here like clock work but no AF has so far not made an appearnce. We just got our hcg levels drawn i'll find this afternoon if it's good or bad. Could it really be that the month that there is no treatment something happens. I have had some mild cramping but I thought that was my period coming in.
