Two Days in a Row...
Guy is still really sick, and I made a late afternoon run to WalMart to get more meds... I wish I could just heal him, and get over it... (Trust me, I'm trying dear Goddess) Because he is sick, after running to the Wal, and making chicken soup, I had to feed the outside dogz and haul wood. I probably don't need to mention that I cannot feel my fingers or legs/feet. How do I type, you ask? Completely by rote from my superior Kinko's training... You know, where you tell the customer you are "just finishing" their order when really you're just starting it! I can type a resume with bolding, italics, and perfect formatting in 10 minutes flat... Well, I could back in the day anyway... Today was a beautiful SUNNY DAY!!! Our snow is nearly gone! I can see grass in my yard. The best news is that the driveway is not really as bad as I originally thought as we can now SEE the driveway. We've be driving in the field in lieu of the actual drive... Sure, I'll need about $500 in gravel in the spring, but by then, the money tree should be leafing out! LOL Hey, a girl can dream, can't she? I also got an entire flat of tomatoes seeded! This is really good news as I've been meaning to get buzy on that... I seeded four varieties: Arkansas Travelers (perfect tomatoes that don't split), Royal Chicos (roma-style tomatoes), White Currents (experimental tiny tomato), and Black Prince (an early Siberian tomato). It felt so good to be able to dig in the dirt again! Last night in preparation, I cut my fingernails to the quick and meditated on growing plants again. It was sooooo good for my poor snow-frozen soul! Tomorrow, I'll start peppers (4 varieties, I think) along with wonderberries (another experiment). Really, if I get really motivated, there are many other things I need to start, and I bet I'll regret not picking up more potting soil... It was a long puppy day, but overall, a good puppy day. I'm sure I'll sleep well again! xo Cj

well look at you taking care of business girl. your on top of everything and still going strong!wish i could have been there to help, i would have really enjoyed all that seeding and planting. i think we\'ve seen the last of the snow now.... ya think? hope guy feels better soon chicken soup and plenty of liquids is my remedy works everytime xoxo lily
it sounds like you have a green thumb and a nursery in the works? I love planting things and pruning things. It is all so therapeutic. I hope you have many more puppy days!
I am with ya on no more snow girlfriend. Its time for spring! My husband is the planter, tomatoes and peppers too. He plants the hottest pepper habaneros (sp?) and when he eats it I watch sweat break out on his forehead. How can you like that?

Cj, i am so very sorry, that Guy isn\'t feeling well. hopefully very soon, he will get well, and be back to 100%. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
i\'m so glad, you got to enjoy doing some gardening. :) i know you were so very excited about it, and it\'s wonderful, that you did some gardening, and are in good spirits about the upcoming gardening season. You are having some nice luck already, as your onion seedlings have sprouted, and are growing. You all will be having wonderful crop of delicious fruits, and vegetables, and it\'s going to be wonderful, getting to share gardening 2008 with everyone. i look forward too it! :)

I\'m praying for you and Guy. Hope he will feel better soon not only for him but for you. Wow you have been a busy little bee there my friend. I\'m so ready to play in the dirt. Got me some potting soil so I hope I get my flowers started but the days just keep flying by!!! I\'m sure it will slow down though. I hope you get some more of those little guys planted today.
