Two Days in a Row...
I have been kicking my big ole butt, and although I'm tired, I feel SOOOO GREAT!!! EMP0WERED!!! HEALTHY!!! Yes, it catches up with me by afternoon, but after I accomplish so much, who cares? Just taking a little "sit down and do nothing" break before I hit it again. I'm in seventh heaven as I have been starting my flower pots from seed in my greenhouse. It was complicated because I had to haul mulch which I put in the bottom of the pots from behind one barn to the greenhouse (a bit of a distance). Then, I put potting soil on top of that followed by seeds: calendula (saved from last year), nicotiana (saved + a new packet-- like planting DUST but it usually works), zinnias (same as previous), violas (saved), and impatiens (saved). Next, I need to repot the tarragon I started from seed last year--it's been only in the house so far, and it was also planting dust. Guy helped to thin it when I left for the weekend, and he didn't water it. (Had to cut off the dead stuff...) It takes tons of water, but I think it just needs a bigger pot. I am so happy that the weather is finally warm and sunny! I love spring and most of the summer (except August when it's in the 90's and humid). So, I'm off to enjoy more of the beautiful day! PS: Nephew is still in the hospital... Good! More reason to take better care of yourself!

Oh Chickie Momma, you have been busy today and so have I. Just was taking a sit down break when I seen where you posted a journal. So you know me, I just had to snoop and see what you were up too. giggles
I got out this morning and planted the rest of the Easter lilies that I bought, planted some iris\'s that I just threw out of the truck last summer. oops & giggles Some older gentleman that loves to garden gave them to me. Then I got sick and forgot all about them. Surprise to me they were fine and starting to grow! I had to DIG some of them up! So while I was planting them I spied some Zinna\'s coming up where they had reseeded themselves. So I just ticked my little butt in the house and grab my seeds and went to town just a plantin\'. Cleaning along the way. You know how that goes. You guys are about a week or so behind use I think mom said. So it won\'t be long and you\'ll be seeing all kinds of goodies.

Hi Cj! You\'ve been busy! i am so very happy, that you are enjoying a great time gardening! You are so right, about how it\'s uplifting, to do some gardening. Even though it\'s hard work sometimes, it\'s very rewarding. after i am sore from gardening, i always think of it as a rewarding sore. We give much love to our plants, and in returned, they give back so much love also. :)

CJ, you are doing it up with the gardening and chicks. Whew, I\'m exhausted for you (lol). It\'s a good thing to stay as active as you are. I am also glad the weather is getting nice. It\'s so crazy that in mid-April the nights and early mornings are very cool. Take care of yourself, drink plenty of water and hope you rest well for another exciting day ahead. Hugs, Carla

Well, I hope your nephew gets better for his own sake. One of my nephews died in January at the age of 39. He was a very nice, gentle person who didn\'t take care of his body either. God rest his soul. Peace always
It also got warmer here, in high 70s. I was working on grounds all morning puting the bark around the edges and around the trees. It is kind of orangy, so my hands and arms were looking strange after a while, plus i had a black t-shirt on, and someone told me i\'m ready for haloween.
Wow Cj, Reading your journal it makes me feel like I should transplant some of my houseplants and put in bigger pots and fresh soil. I guess sometimes I get nervous about destroying the plant. This is the perfect time to do it I guess. I hope so anyways. Well you have a wonderful weekend. LOL Mary xxxooo
