So I wake today to get an email of a password change on Twitter. I check my twitter, and someone posted spam links to people, followed people I don't know all with my account. Well I closed it out and made a new one. For fuck's sake, who the hell does this? Why hack Twitter accounts? What does it accomplish?

Its called a spam virus, its happened to me before, the only way to stop them is by changing your password, or opening a new account yes. Sorry this happened to you, its happened to me before. Feel better soon sweety

I changed my password, then decided to make a new account all together.
