twilight zone gum pain
4 in morning to get out of bed, and put some arthritis cream on side of my nose---cause i can feel my infected gum all the way into my cheek bones. That, gargaling with peroxide, and not eating, are about the only thing to do to ride out his awful pain; went to bed at 7 last night cause of it.
reacurring gum infection, added to a cavity i just found----with looong wait till next month for dentist. Get cavity fixed, hopefully not tooth pulled, and teeth cleaned. A new dentist paranoia, after going to same dentist since 1995?
Lousy obamacare---this is something that should be covered, but isn't. But, at least the timing is right; can afford dentist next month, with hopefully no other money problems.
A reminder that my parents in the 1960s, would have been arrested for my bad elementary school teeth, if it had been decades later; my uncaring, lowlife, parents suddenly sending me to dentists when i was a kid---probably cause the school contacted them. I can also be glad that caps I got in the 1970s have lasted this long.
Good teeth---that's what really distinguishes the rich from the poor, since even celebrity millionaires are photographed in ripped, faded, blue jeans.
"You can tell I'm not a local---I have most of my teeth": heard at least one outsider make that joke in my rural ghetto.

Teeth hearing and eyesight are the most uncovered by insurance and most important to health. This has always puzzled me!
lots of people around here don\'t have any teeth at all. they have dentures. they find the cheapest place and have them pulled for $75 per extraction because they don\'t want to bother with it. i was stunned to discover this. south florida is the exact opposite. they have dental hygiene clinics in the MALL and super cheap to get them cleaned and scaled, like $30.
hope you feel better. if there is a dental school near you. upenn would have one and so would penn state ... not sure where you live. also county colleges that have dental hygiene programs can clean your teeth for $12, there is a dentist there and they do a great job. hope your pain goes away. how about a medical clinic through a born again church? there are many of those. they probably have dentists as well. or at a local hospital, its charity care or affordable something medical care, try that - then all the medical care is free.

I\'ve been paying cash, with the little money I have, for dentist trips since the 1980s. I did waste a whole thousand dollars around 1990 on a root canal and crown---only to have the fragile tooth crack maybe five years later and have the whole thing yanked anyhow.

when i had my...gums...cleaned/whatever, i called temple university, about 75 miles away in philadelphia---would have cost more for a student to do dental work, than the university professor, who had an office in my town; my long time dentist clued me in on that.
Dental work in this hillbilly area is cheaper than similar procedures in a city like Philadelphia, not too far away.
