Turning the Corner
Albeit maybe a slow curve I am turning the corner. I wrote today, a few pages! That is progress. I am slowly coming back, regaining my strength. My energy is still low and right now I have a annoying sniffle but, all that said, I wrote today.
Many of you have no idea why this is such a BIG deal but it is!! I am sharing it with my corner of the universe. I also documented my trauma. People have been telling me that I needed to write it down, DOCUMENT it and start to move on. As I wrote it out I checked my memory of events and transcribed them as accurately as possible. Of course it is nearly impossible to be objective in this situation.
Again, I re evaluated the trauma I endured on that day, the loss, the anger, and resentment. Yes, resentment, but not for the reasons I would have thought. I am resentful for the past three years, the paralysis I have endured. The inability to focus my muse for fear of devestation.
I am coming to terms with what it all means, I am sifting through the rubble of my self esteem, my faith in others and my reasons for striving forward and not giving up on what I want. I succeeded once and I can do it again, bigger and better. I have grown and for that alone I am grateful.
