turning a corner

Recently have turned a major corner in my life or so it feels. You see the neighbour nextdoor has been key to all this and of course her children who I adore to bits. They have just been given 2 rabbits and one of the kids who is only 4 asked who I like to come see them, bearing in mind I have a phobia with dogs,so was somewhat skeptical if I could go through with this huge hurdle. So the little girl knocked on my door, and extended her little hand, how could I refuse this? So 10 minutes later I had actually left the place I call prison, and spent over an hour chatting and having tea while the rabbits were freely roaming the garden, though I do have to say my heart was thumping, but it got less as I started to feel more at ease.So really feel this a small step into a wonderland..... My neighbour Tereasa has asked me again and has helped so much,it only early days but its a good start.

That is huge! Congratulations, BlueJeanz. I had a friend and fellow sufferer who used to say \"Do it until it becomes boring.\"There is a lot of wisdom in that advice. The more you go over there, the more moments you will find yourself actually relaxing. It is so important to make ourselves do as much as we can; never letting too many days go by without reinforcing our progress. And you sound like you are moving forward.
