of those chicken \"farms\" deplorable. I was shocked
the first time I visited Arkansas.

It is the truth about the life of turkeys mass produced to supply the grocery stores for the holiday season. There is a considerable amount of cruelty in it. I did not post this advocating not eating meat, even though Eve and I don\'t and we believe we are better off for it. I posted it to speak out against factory farms. There is a huge difference between an animal raised in good, caring conditions and one raised as a low-expense commodity, even if the ultimate outcome is the same. Evil begets evil and, in my opinion, the conditions of factory farms are evil.
Maltreatment of any living creature is disgusting.
If you have ever been to any animal farm, where animals are mass produced; you never forget it. The smell and sights are enough to make you sick.
I have seen a \"puppy mill\" and chicken farms. Both
were beyond my comprehension.
Another topic, but when living East of here in Klamath; I saw some very disturbing things. Some of
the Hispanics there raise cock roosters and pit bull
dogs; just for the sole purpose of fighting to the
death. It is illegal, but a big money maker over there. Can you imagine? Raising an animal and being cruel to it to turn it into a fighter?
