Turkeys
I just saw three turkeys on my roof - no they were not my neighbors:) It was a momma turkey and two of her chicks.
How they got onto my roof I have no idea - and while the momma flew off - I thought I was going to have to get out my ladder and help the chicks down. However, those brave little guys -
after considering many alternatives (you could tell by the way they were pacing back and forth)
well - they flew off the roof into my garden.
We have pheasants around here too and they usually have many chicks. They walk up and down
my street and onto properties - the momma and at least 12 little chicks in a straight line behind her.
I love the birds around here and the deer too - except they have eaten almost all of my garden
this year. Kayote urine scares them and I used to spray that stuff all over my garden. It
kept the deer away - but it kept me away too. It is very smelly stuff.

ahahaha that totally made my day! :D
How sweet! Just remember, I know your beautiful foliage is expensive, but deer can\'t go to the grocery store....they are utilitarians :)
Your neighborhood sounds wonderful, with all that nature around.
Hi Linda! :) Wow! :) That\'s amazing that the turkey\'s visited your yard and garden! :) we\'ve seen some wild turkey\'s around before. :) it\'s really neat to see them! :) they love open fields, and they walk around, it\'s amazing, how nature brings us these incredible sights. :) You have a beautiful and peaceful nature sanctuary. :)
