Friday was an emotional day for me, after just over 14 months, I felt at a point where I could gather most of my Beloved Pat's clothes and donate them. Via a dear friend, they have gone to a men's recovery home. Pat would be happy because they will be used and the men are so appreciative. It was the right thing to do. Most of these men have 2 pair of jeans and 2 t-shirts. Now they will be able to choose clothes that will allow them to be presentable for job interviews and the like. I felt good doing it. SEVEN large bags. Yes, of course I kept some things. That also, was the right thing to do.
One of my childhood friends now living in San Diego will stay with me the week of my..... OH MY GOD, SHE JUST CALLED ME AS I WAS TYPING THIS.........daughter's wedding in August so I am looking forward to having her here. The plan now is to de-clutter my rec-room. The guest room is all ready so that's a plus for me.
