Pat had his ENT appointment today and it was decided he would have minor surgey and get the tubes put in his ears. His ear canals are twisty and it would be too uncomfortable to have it done in the Drs. office. While there he will have the little growth on his tongue removed, the one he was told was an exposed taste bud, it isn't.This Dr said he didn't think there was anything to worry about but would have it biopsied anyway. With the Olympics here next month the Dr has only one day a monthat the hospital so hence the wait. It is about a 20 minute procedure and he will be put out and probably have a breathing tube too. I know he will be just fine as will the biopsy. But.........yes, I will be a mess.My Mum passed away 2 years and 4 days ago, today I found out her best friend since they were 6 years old passed away 2 days ago. Amazing eh, exactly 2 years and 2 days after my Mum, they were friends for 87 years! I'll take my Dad to her service next Thursday. I hope everyone at DS is well and re-couping after Christmas.
