Tuesday wasnt much better
Last night I was texting with my very good friend and received an email from an old ex whom I broke it off with last November.
I just thought it odd that after such a long time he'd reach out. We went back and forth in emails several times and then to nip it in the bud, I wished him happiness and success in finding the right woman for himself. Then everything ceased. I knew where the conversation was leading and felt it best to not go down that road. I am still sad over telling the recent beau to keep walking without me as I am in the current state of chaos I find myself in-or rather-put myself in. I guess if you don't makes choices and live thru them you'll never learn any lessons.
On another note, i got into the office this morning and got cornered by my boss. There is a man in the office who is a swinger. I have nothing against this but dont agree with the lifestyle especially since he is married. As soon as i started working there, he hit on me to meet his wife and he downtown for a drink. Well, i knew what he was doing and i quickly told thanked him for the invite but No. The boss overheard this, pulled him into the office and told him his job was on the line and to leave me alone. Since then, we have only had conversations relating to business.
Yesterday i was pulled back into bosses office where i was told i was engaging him. I then asked how they thought i was and they told me just by talking to him. I have to talk to him on a work basis and that is all that we have ever talked about since. It made me sad, it made me mad. I start questioning myself. I am dreading going to work today. I feel they are putting more onto me then they should.
I feel like crying.

That does, indeed, sound like an unfair load and don't see much alternative other than venting the frustration (tears are great for that) while you look for cracks and crevices to offer a toe hold while you stand your ground. Boundary time? ? ?
Rocking you gently and crying with you, Sage.
