Yesterday my uncle died - I watched him take his last breaths just like I did with Scott, my mother and recently my father.  I don't even cry any more.  I feel like a mutant freak unable to cry or even let others console me.  They say that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger - could that also mean colder?  I wonder.

I am sorry to hear about your uncle. I think our emotions shut down after awhile. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Forever Jake\'s mom, kathy

My condolences to you and your family. I think its a built in mechanism for us not to feel pain. It doesn\'t make you a mutant freak. And know you aren\'t colder it could be that you just needed to be the rock for everyone at that time. We all have a rock to hold to. Rest assure you are human and do have feelings. Much love and be blessed!
