A not-as-cold Tuesday morning...which is good, considering we just got back from a week in Vero Beach, Florida. It was chilly there for the first couple of days, but then it warmed up and we spent Sunday afternoon at a polo match and went to the beach on Monday. No sea glass, but a beautiful area just the same.Got home around 8:30 p.m. last evening. Found a young female cat out near the garage...my Jake & Woody were checking her out from a safe distance. Just what we need -- another cat! Tom keeps saying, "Can we keep her?" What to do, what to do? So, of course, I fed her and she spent the night on the back porch (she learned quickly how to use the automatic cat door). She is too friendly to be a stray, so I have to canvass the "neighborhood" today and ask if someone might be missing their cat!Volunteer day over at SERRV with Benevola Methodist Church. I promised to go help for a couple of hours (SERRV is where I am part of the seasonal employee group) and then have my first Physical Therapy session in a week at 2:00. Won't get much unpacking done today.Anyway, in breaking news, the reporter from the Carroll County Times did a pretty good job on the story he did on us called .com Love. I am going to try to get the link pasted into this journal, but I'm not real good at that sort of thing. In any event, if anyone reads this journal and the link isn't here, go to www.CarrollCountyTimes.com and click on FOCUS. It should come up under Sunday's date. Here's the entire link:http://www.carrollcountytimes.com/articles/2009/02/08/features/in_focus/focus884.txtOther than that, things are good. We enjoyed our trip and our visit with Tom's good friends and in just three short weeks, we'll be off to Barbados! Hopefully, by the time we return from that (March 13) spring will be well on the way.
