Tuesday

Raining here hard today and last night and expect rain for the next couple of days.  I'm about caught up on my work from being out last Friday.  Not much going on anywhere.  I was thankful last night about being able to spend an afternoon at my fav Hamburger joint on the water before the Corona Dramas.  I don't think any of us will be the same after this is all over.

I was just saying to a friend that last year was a very dark depressing year where  slept most of my life away- and once I made the leap to get out more and start living life- this Coronavirus shuts everything down.  I had 1 good weekend and things went South.  I know it is hard on everyone right now.

I am glad I did so much camping before this hit-if not-I think I would not be handiling the isolation as well.  I have already planned my next camping trip after this is all over.  Hopefully it won't be much longer for any of us.

Have a good healthy day!

One good thing about time is that it gives us all second chances to do other things that give us pleasure. If one doesn't work then we can look for something else. Don't get discouraged if one thing fails, just keep right on a goin until you are happy!.

I was without power last week for 4 days and I pretended it was a camping trip and made it fun instead of a chore. I thought of that when you mentioned camping.

It will all work out eventually!

It does seem it's a time to think about what we want to do and accomplish after this thing sort of rights itself. I'm thinking about places I want to go this summer and fall. We canceled a long weeked we were going take in MN this past weekend. I mean, what's the point. Hotel is open but nothing else is. So we're planning on that for the fall.

My husband was forced to play Scrabble on Saturday with me. I love Scrabble. Him not so much. I said to him , what else you going to do the next two hours? He couldn't argue with that.

Bob you had no power... sheesh. I know it happens but it's like really, NOW??? I think of all those people who just experienced tornadoes the other day. Just seems mean. Mother Nature and pandemics apparently don't check each other's schedules.

@ rmb Yes, it was a freak storm with golf ball sized snow flakes...I have never seen anything like it. The snow was so heavy that it uprooted trees and caused alot of damage. They had to call in other states to help us out. We ended up getting our power restored by New York State electric. Very nice people. I ran into the workers at the local dunkin donut shop.

Thank God it's over.
