8:55am
So yesterday morning the chronic pain was mild then it ramped up around 11:30am. I lifted weights and took a shower and then it was mild only to flair up again around 3pm. I mixed the steroid cream with the really strong anesthetic cream and it may have helped. Last night and this morning the pain is very mild but I have no idea if it was the med combo or if I'm just having a mild day which seems to come and go with no rhyme or reason.
I have more work to do on that sales app so I will be busy today. It's nasty cold and I'll need to head out at lunch to shovel my drive and my neighbors drive. I have to throw some salt for my mailman but he won't be here until after 1pm so I have time.
I was so miserable yesterday between like 3-7pm with the pain. What the hell? The doc said it's some type of nerve damage so I guess that's why it's so unpredictable. I just wish I knew if mixing the meds was what helped last night. I'm sure this f-ing pain will flair up again and I can see what happens. It's so frustrating when you feel like it's getting better only to come back. It's like having a broken arm that heals up only to re-break then next day. God I just want to feel healthy again!
Anyway, I need another cup of coffee then it's time to make the donuts....
2:49pm
So I got a lot of work done today. I think I just need to test the rest of the day today and tomorrow. I shoveled my drive and my neighbors drive. My other neighbors walkway was covered so I ran a shovel over there. Usually her son comes over to do it but I figured I was already outside. It's cold but not bad until the wind kicks in. It was nice just to get some fresh air.
I pray this Spring brings better things. Better weather and hopefully better health. I won't let this stupid chronic pain stop me from exercise and running the lake this Spring/Summer. I just balance the good pain with the bad. So far today the pain has been mild so I'll take the win as there is no pattern and it could flair up at any moment and last for hours or days. It's never completely gone but I've at least learned to live with that fact.
Well a couple hours of testing then on to my video game. Tomorrow is my primary doc appointment. I'm a bit nervous that she won't refill my Klonopin but hopefully she will.

I hope mixing the meds will turn out to be helpful. You are one tough guy to be able to do all the physical stuff you do when you are suffering so. I know it helps with the depression and anxiety and am glad you are able to keep going with it. Nerve pain is the worst. I only dealt with it when a disc in my back was pinching the sciatic nerve. Even though that was long ago, I haven\'t forgotten it. One tough dude! Your neighbor is so lucky to have you to help her. I just am amazed how you keep keepin on!
Hope your pain stays on the mild level or even better, goes away!
