Well it has been an okay day for the most part.
I got a little more sleep last night but not tons. It is going to take me a while to get used to sleeping with hubby gone I guess. GD ( 6 yr old) seems to be doing okay. I got her to laugh this morning. She even turned down a chance to come home early this afternoon to spend time with papa!
Busy night for me. I ended up taking BOTH GD's to the oldest one's soccer practice. That was exciting for the little one as she goes, bump, bump , bump when grandma has to carry her in her car seat! It is quite a sight to see this grandma carry her let me tell you. LOL
The night went pretty well and hubby is getting some sleep or so I think anyhow. I will need to wake him here in a bit so he can get ready for work.
There was some sadness as I received notice that a friend passed away this morning. She was diagnosed last December/January with an advanced form of leukemia. She was just told she had maybe 1 year left to live here in the last week or so. So my prayers go out to the family this evening.
Thankfully tomorrow is Wednesday. Another busy day for this grandma with the GD's...... shots, cheer camp,etc. I will be glad to see Saturday noon come when i can crash and burn!
