Tue: some news, good and bad
A friend of mine and a very dear friend of my mom's, told us this morn that she is leaving in about 2 weeks to move back to Texas. She is divorcing her abusive husband (which is good) but she is leaving . She has early altzheimer's and her memory is already going. poor poor lady... she is so sweet and we love her so much. i wish she didn't have to go. i told her that she has to stay at least till my birthday (Oct 5) and party with me or i'll be so mad. i told her that we will call her every several days to remind her since her memory lasts only a few minutes at a time. hopefully she'll forget that she is supposed to move. but i'm behind her 100% for the divorce, she deserves so much better than him! i think maybe we should get a video camera and tape us hangin out so that when she leaves, she can take a recording of us, hopefully some memories of us will stay with her and when she plays the tape, she will smile. We will miss her so much. Got news back from the VA today that they have denied my apeal for the fibromyalgia claim. i'm, not giving up! those fuckin bastards! i'm apealing again, and if i have to go to DC and go to court over this, i will!!!! in good news... the VA home laon guarantee has approved of the house to buy! yippee! yippee! i'm so excited about the move but dread the work of packing. pray it all goes well!also in good news, my car is now fixed and all problems seemed to have been solved. hope it stays that way. well God bless everyone here and thank you all for your support! you all rock!

I\'m sorry to hear about your friend. The video tape idea sounds like a good thing. Packing is a huge pain in the ass but at least you\'ll be moving into a new house. Glad to hear about your car. Hope nothing else goes wrong with it. Hugs, Trouble
Alzheimer\'s is such a cruel disease, I hate it. My beloved Aunt Betty suffered from it for about 12 years before she died last November at age 80. I\'m still not over it. I think the video is a great idea - she\'s a lucky lady to have people like you and your mom who care for her so much.
I\'m about ready to launch a campaign with you against the VA. Enough\'s enough, You\'ve got the fighting spirit which is great, it just sux that they won\'t just do the right thing and people have to get drastic to get any sort of justice. I\'m pulling for you big time here.
Man, I really have been out of the loop - didn\'t even know you were moving! I\'m excited to hear it and hope it is a positive thing for you - maybe with the move all the other stuff will change for the better as well. Know what you mean about packing. I usually end up just giving a bunch of stuff away rather than having to deal with it! Good luck with it and hang in there.
