Trying to turn things around

Preordered a book from Amazon.com and it came in the mail today:  "Starting Today, A Journal of Intention and Change."  Hardback journal/goal setting thing.  I think I found the recommendation either in my Oprah magazine or my Fitness Magazine.  Anyway, $10, free shipping.  Can't hurt.
My new goals for now and the new year:
Exercise every day (trying to get to my 10k steps average a day), eat better/journal my food more regularly, do at least 2 hrs a week of my Fluenz Spanish classes and 1/2 hr a week of My Spanish Coach.  Wear makeup more often.  (So I feel better about myself.)  Also read my book at least 3 hrs per week. My other goal is to try to clean my house more and declutter.  the "mess" depresses me more.
This past month has knocked me on my butt, between the hormonal change, it getting darker earlier, depression/anxiety setting in, ongoing issues with David and Buddy.  I am trying to deal with that and accept the things beyond my control.  Hoping Buddy goes to his forever home this Saturday, 12/15.
Starting to put up Christmas decorations today.  Hoping that improves my mood.
Took Lexapro last night.  2 nights now.  Not expecting it to kick in for a little bit.  woke up yesterday not feeling well at all.  Sick to my stomach, shaky, chills, anxious.  took a Xanax and was fine the rest of the day.  Today, woke up feeling fine but around 9am, got really bad.  Took a Xanax and feel better now.  Foggy brained and still have that buzzing feeling but otherwise functional.
Weight is 159.6 lbs.

Oh, think I am going to get the Samsung Galaxy SIII android phone (vs the Apple Iphone 4S.) Just need to order it. I get a discount online due to my company that I work for.

No appetite at all. Several days now. Ate a greek yogurt for breakfast with some coffee and then some soup for lunch. Had to take another Xanax around 10am. Buzzing, dizzy, anxious, tired, sick to my stomach. All of the symptoms that hit me early 2010 when this mess all first started. Took the dog for a walk, and it did help a little. But now I feel like I am crashing. Tingling sensation all over. Really tired. Praying that this Lexapro kicks in. It has only been 2 nights and I know it takes a week or two.

What turned my life around pertaining to anxiety and panic attacks was the anti-depressant, Cymbalta. It also curbs my appetite a bit. I swear by it. It helps some people with physical pain, though not me! It\'s worth a try if the Lexapro doesn\'t work for you. Love to you.

It is good you have set some guidelines or goals for yourself. I think the mind and the moods are better with direction & purpose.
