Trying this again.

I been off here for years. Yes, 2015 and it's now 2026. A lot of updates.

My mom died last year. My greedy sister will be taking everything since she can bully my dad into changing the will. Mom wanted the house sold and the money devided. The possessions, we supposed to fight over it. Thats when I found out. My sisters getting the house and everything in it. I bet she gets the cars and the money too. Shes a narcissistic bitch just like the rest of them.

My brother who always wanted me dead and blamed me for everything including my existence, talked to me in ways I questioned if it was him. Mom's death changed him for the better and my sister for the worst.

He told me about the family gift, which explains my extraordinary gift in music. I'm going to start busking soon. I kinda need to since I been out of work a few weeks which causes issues at home with the wife. We moved half way across the country for a new start to the last half of our lives. Moved where fishing and music is the top recreational activities.

Over all I'm doing ok. Had my appendix removed a few months back, had tennis elbow for a couple months (I don't even play tennis. Wtf) before it healed, had 3 toes removed due to diabetes. I'll be 50 in a couple weeks and I'm trying to get second (3rd, 4th) incomes in.

It's just bs. I held on way to long. I haven't even talked to my dad since the funeral. I'm involuntarily estranged then told I'm more involved than anyone. My last contact with my immediate relatives was my dad besides the conversation with my brother that one time. I'll go to dads funeral and let the lawyer call me to tell me I don't get shit. Just the way it works with them.

so you could take it to probate if it is just a will....

Im sure its set in stone knowing how sinister my sister is. Shes a professional lier and a professional con.

A wise man once said, the 2 people you dont trust the most in this life is a magician and a salesman. Her husband is both, and with over 30 years together, they act the same in this personality trait.

Not much you can do in this specific situation when everything (meaning the vehicles, the house and everything in it) has been set to go into her name the day dad dies. Its just a con to get the most out of the game.

I wanted my grandpas coffee table he built in the early 1950's. Dad said he needs it to put his drinks on just to keep it after saying I'll have to go through my sister to get it. Then it went to, she wants it to give to me as a parting gift. What sibling gives to their sibling a "parting gift"? It's just the next lie to get me to drop the subject. Plus with it being the day we put mom in the ground, it wasn't a good time to push the lion to the tamer. I knew this would happen in the 90's. Just another lie to cover up decades of lies and they're all to stupid to realize i figured it out before i was 10 years old. Sad.

Parting gift?

probate is fighting those types of decisions....

It is really hard to have a parent die and then realize they set up their estate to be generous to one and not the others. I wonder if you parent who died had dementia or your dad and they are getting bullied. We saw this with my in-laws and their golden child who was poorly chosen to be their MPOA and executor.

I am glad you are back on here, welcome back. I have come and gone a few times over the many years and restarted with new names. But now I know more people on here and just feel this place is currently extremely supportive.

My husband didn't truly want anything from his parents but when we saw how the golden child sister was hiding all the money things, the good stuff, we went in one day to their house when no one else was there and just took what husband wanted. Oh, that sister found out and had a fit. My husband even took his dad's phone from dad's death bed (dad was beyond using that phone) and both the sisters called him and wanted that phone! They were angry about an old phone that had not been updated in years and my husband just wanted it to set a boundary with them. Husband wanted to show the golden child and the user child that they could not abuse him.

Husband took a small bookcase that had been in his childhood home, the phone and the old laptop his dad used that was actually also not updated and out of date, not usable. We found a bag of coins that husband wanted. I took a book or two. I saw a huge bottle of Ambien in the bathroom drawer and I should have taken it and gotten rid of it, I am it probably had 200 Ambien in it! The parents abused Ambien. But I left it and then it was gone the next time we were over there. All his siblings also abuse Ambien but husband does not. So what we took was minor stuff and the golden child sister was so sneaky and hiding stuff.

Ill look into the probate.

Mom had dementia for a couple years. I found out after 2 years of her having it. Dad has ptsd and hes a narcissist. I think in the later years he doesn't care what happens and just keeping the peace. Although, the lies have gone in circles for decades.

Im sure the phone has pictures or something of value on it. Why else would that be wanted so bad.
