Trying not to be down
Today I had my second appointment for bloodwork and an ultrasound with my RE. We're on our 5th day of IVF shots. The ultrasound went really well. My PCOS is definitely showing it's presence, as I have so many eggs, my lab tech told me she couldn't even count them all. I'm miserable. Haha. In a good way though. Because I know it's all of our little eggs growing in there. My stomach is swollen, i can't sleep on my sides, and forget about my stomach. My lower back hurts. I was told today I can't use my beloved heating pad. So, I'm left with Tylenol. Sigh. But, it's all worth it!
As I was driving home today, my RE called me to let me know my estrogen levels are at 6500! They're supposed to be around 500 at this point. So...more waiting is in store for us. She's not canceling our cycle (praise God!) but she won't implant this month. She'll let me go, new egg retrieval day is set for Saturday. I go back up to my RE on Thursday of this week. I start my 3 Ganerlix injections this evening at 10 pm. So she'll take them out, fertilize them, and then freeze them. Next month she says when my estrogen levels flatten out, she'll put them back in. I'm just so tired of waiting. I know it's best, and I know it's the right thing to do. But I really really wanted one thing to work out in all of this. And I thought we were going so well, that we'd move straight in to implanting them. But if this process has taught me anything, it's that I can't control anything and it never goes how you want it to.

I know exactly what you mean, sometimes I think it\'s better not to plan anything at all and not let my expectations up. But then I think \"As if\" It\'s always so sucky. But at least when you do the transfer you\'ll be much better physically which means better chances of implanting! :) Good luck sweetie, I hope I\'ll be able to start my next cycle soon too.
Thank you Jaydee28. Good luck with your next cycle as well!
