its raining a lot outside. the injured kitty, that is at rn's is doing better, she says. the swelling on the eyes didn't go down yet. would love to know what actually happened. still more drama anyway.it also looks like someone put something IN the eyes that they shouldn't have. like someone using a wrong med? it could be irritation, but then where did the limp on his legcome from?
have no idea how she does so many bottlefeeds and meds. i used to be like that to a degree, but its a LOT.
we are having trouble with ADP at work, they are the company cutting our checks at the minute, and several people have wrong checks right now. grrrrr. so now all the stubs have to be pulled to see what is going on. surprised. what a week. ADP was our original and used to be good. not anymore. the paycard place may have been better, plus the paycard place was viewable on line, which was easier, you could retrieve old ones and all that without any help.
spent the morning pruning palm trees. looking for the brown kitty. purging books. cleaning a bit. still need to pack more and pick up tile for the bathroom over there.i went back to white tile again. its only slightly more. the sales guy said to go with textured tile because you can slip easily if the smooth stuff gets wet.
i know which toilet i want as well, but how does that go.i like the seat they have at the library over here. so is there a model number or what? lol. didn't know there was all different kinds of toilet seats. lol. never even thought about it.
dropped off stuff at the hospital and then left for up here. the old guy claims he can work one extra hour while we are short-handed ... he tries to hide behind his wife with all this, instead of just saying he gets tired and is afraid he will fall asleep.he is still making trouble as well. word gets around. he found a gullible new guy two years ago, who must be mental, because with the new guy, its not old age, he's just weird and a lot of trouble (not even from our company). this guy was already caught trying to run down (in front of witnesses) some girl in the parking area. and broke into the offices on a weekend and said his supervisor told him to come in which was a lie, when the supervisor was called. why is an asshole like that still here? amazing people acting like that when they are so old. he must have been a total asshole when he was young. seriously. puts on a good act to your face and then as soon as your back is turned he starts his crap. the old guy is from the generation that believes men should be in charge and he feels, the supervisor job should have gone to the "oldest" male, (not the one with the most experience or education or seniority) just the "oldest" in years and "male". amazing, people ever lived or thought like that, though i know they did. this old guy is probably the last that i'll see of that in my lifetime. i guess. unless another country takes over and they are patriarchal. very odd though. and kind of sickening, makes you want to throw up. can't imagine people living like that, so oppressive and unjust.
picked up one of the purged books, nissa, its about a woman's triballife in africa. don't recall which country.it sounds to me like all they do is have sex - she is "married" to one guy, and then having sex with two of his brothers, when he is away and worried she will get caught. i realize there are lots of people in other cultures including in usa, doing things like this, but she states it as though that is what goes on in their tribe all the time. very strange. its also legal there to kill babies, if they don't want them. wow. its too strange, so that book is going.it was making me sick.

brought rn the kitten around lunchtime. she says she didn\'t really expect me before lunchtime anyway. lol. true. visited the one we just saved. it looks like herpes conjunctivitis to me, which is iffy. she says there is improvement. to me it looks worse. sad and awful. i don\'t know much about herpes except that it is common and it can blind the animal. rn won\'t do blind. she has it on antibiotic and lysine. i think it should be on doxycycline. though they used zithromax for eye infection last time. wonder if km can sell me some? right now its on amoxi for the uri. zithro would handle both.
rn flea bathed the baby that i was worried about. its better if she does it. she doesn\'t even mind which amazes me. now i wish i did bring it there. the bit with that litter is odd. i hate when that happens. suzi went through that when her cat gave birth to eleven which is just plain weird, the largest litter i ever saw before that was 9 and somehow they lived (cats only have six teats). timmy is from that litter of nine and was a runt that i bottle fed (for six months actually, he was spoiled, really loved that kmr. lol.) it made suzi give up rescue for a couple of years because it became a traumatic thing. the kittens were fine, just super small, so she was supplementing the feedings, and then they just died at like 5 weeks. what is that? they weren\'t even sick, they were running around and then gone. so she quit for a while. and now she is back, but just adult animals, its easier.
stopped at the house. need to call ray to make sure of the date for the repairs. and need to call mla for other things. i just received a flier from her.
