Tropical Storm impacting here. We are ok. very windy. power out at times. we're keeping safe

Tropical storm here. our power went out earlier. Hi angel friends, we're doing ok, riding out the tropical storm here at home, safely indoors. as of 5pm as i post this journal, our power is thankfully on and our trees in our backyard are holding up well. our power flickered off a few times this afternoon and went out around 3:30pm. We're thinking of everyone, and hoping, praying everyone is doing ok, and safe from the storm. We're with you all, and are looking forward to the storm being completely past us, and moving forward into some sunny days ahead. we had a tornado watch in southern, CT until 4pm. it's very windy, gusty winds. we've been watching the storm out our windows, and front door. We're all hanging in there, and keeping strong together, we got lots of supplies, and charged up our batteries, just incase. Thank you all our dear angel friends for your well wishes, and prayers. our prayers are with everyone, that are being impacted by, and in the path of the tropical storm. This early morning, we went out to mcds and dunkins to get some treats :) We got our favorites :) my mom and Lisa got breakfast sandwiches, i got a breakfast burrito, and 2 blueberry iced coffees for Holly and i :)This morning, i put extra goodies outside for our nature friends, it was errie out there, it was like the calm before the storm. We've been hanging out today, enjoying some writing time, spending time here on ds, writing to friends, and also did some organizing. :) we've been keeping busy, and are looking forward to the return of calmer weather, and sunshine soon :) our plants are holding up strong, they're doing ok. We're so proud of our plants, and very proud of eachother too :) these storms are wild, and scary, but we all have eachother, and feel all of the love, and care from you all too, our dear angel friends :) Thank you all for riding out this storm with us, and for always being there for us :) We're settling into the evening, very windy out there. we're hoping our trees are gonna be ok, and that power remains on. i'll keep everyone updated, my mom's cell phone has internet just incase we lose power, i'll be able to post short updates.keep safe everyone :) We love you all bunches! :) Tomorrow's super wednesday, and we're looking forward to mailing out some envelopes here from home, and Holly and i want to have a ghost hunters party :) Big group caring friendship hug :)

Tropical Storm Updates! Hi angel friends, my family, Holly, and i hope and pray, that everyone is doing ok, and safe from the severe weather. we've been thinking of you all often today. our thoughts, and prayers are with everyone, being impacted by the tropical storm, and in path of the storm. i've got some updates to share. We're doing ok, our pets are ok, keeping safe, we're hunkered down here in our home, keeping safe indoors. We're riding out the storm. It began to get stormy around noon time, with the storm beginning to impact our area. we had a tornado watch until 4pm today here in Southern, Connecticut. Holly and i went outside around mid-morning, it was beginning to get gusty out there, the clouds from the tropical storm were beginning to roll into our area, some clouds were dark, we were checking our plants, we have a beautiful sunflower that's blossomed :) we took pictures of it to share with everyone :) the air is tropical out there, it felt very warm. we were only outside for about 25 minutes, and then came back in around 11:25am. The winds were picking up around 12:45pm. This afternoon, 2 planters needed support in our front yard, a sunflower, and planter full of cosmos flowers. i quickly helped the plants, and came back indoors. there were some tornado warnings up in western ct, this afternoon.

2:15pm, our power flickered off a few times. the winds were gusting and the clouds were dark outside. some rain in our area from the storm. my brother Charlie lost power at his house.my dad and i monitoring our backyard trees, the strong gusts are scary out there. our power went out around 3:30pm. we put our battery operated lantern lights on. We heard a tree fell on top of a car down the road from us. we are praying and hoping the person is ok. a very wild storm, it's still very gusty this evening.

This morning, we were all rising and shining into the new day, putting together final preparations for the storm, including charging up some more batteries. we've got a double a/triple a battery charger, that charges 4 batteries at a time. we were all up early, catching the latest weather updates on our local news. The storm was coming up the coast, after heavily impacting the Carolina's, and mid atlantic states overnight. we all were talking, hanging out this morning, and keeping in touch with family, friends. i began to get ready for my early morning nature walk, i gathered a huge bowl of goodies, for our nature friends. we think of them often, and we hope they are safe, through the stormy weather. i went outside around 7:10am, it was very errie quiet out there, it was like the calm before the storm. i put lots of goodies in the bird sanctuary area of our backyard, i saw a few birds around. i think our nature friends sensed a storm coming. i walked over to our garden areas, i was looking at our plants, they're doing well, and i was thinking about how proud we are of the plants, and their incredible growing journey :) i saw a nature sight that gave me hope, a bee was pollenating one of our tomato plants :) it touched my heart, as i was thinking about nature, and being in a peaceful moment in nature, and knowing that a storm was coming, it was a nature moment, that i'll always remember from this season. a bee pollenting our tomato plant, even before a storm, it really touched my heart <3 We'll be checking all of our plants early tomorrow, to see how they are doing, after the storm ,and will be ready to go into full gardening mode, for any plants that need support.

Sweet Treats, and Early morning times of the day :) it's one of our favorite days and traditions, sweet treats tuesday :) we love traditions, and it gives us something to look forward too each week :) my mom, Lisa, and i enjoyed a nice time going over to dunkins and mcdonalds :) the weather was calm before the storm this morning. we enjoyed our car ride over to get treats. we went to dunkins, my sister Lisa got some breakfast wraps for Kayla, and my mom got a cinnamon raisin bagel :) We then cruised over to mcdonalds :) my mom and Lisa got breakfast sandwiches, i got a breakfast burrito, and i got 2 blueberry iced coffees for Holly and i :) Cheers! to enjoying the simple joys in life :) we've been enjoying our treats :) We're so happy, and thankful for special traditions like this, to look forward too each week :)

As the morning was going on, we were checking out our local news, weather updates, and i also spent some time here on DS, writing to friends :) i also have my writing area all set up, and decorated :) i love my writing area :) i've been enjoying decorating my writing area, with our beautiful cards, gifts, and treasures :) it's very special joy to my heart, getting to display our treasures :) You all are very special, dear friends :) i'm having a great writing week :) i wrote a new letter, and also writing postcards :) i'm looking forward to mailing out envelopes tomorrow, here from home :) sending lots and lots of love, and happy sunny caring friendship smiles across the miles, from our hearts, and home to yours :) i look forward to blossoming into some more writings, as the week goes on :)

We're keeping safe, making it through the day,with treats, writings, and are keeping safe, indoors :) my family, Holly, and i are doing well, healthy, and in good spirits :) We're indoors, and riding out the storm here at home. We're very hopeful, everyone will be ok, and safe through the storm, and that there's no damages, and power remains on. i'll keep everyone updated. it's very windy, gusty out there. if we lose power, i'll be able to come onto DS, on my mom's cell phone to update everyone. Big nature day, with the tropical storm. Holly and i went outside before the storm arrived, we went out around mid-morning, to check in on our plants, there were some outer bands of clouds from the tropical storm arriving, it was getting breezy. We took some pictures of the sky, and our plants to share with everyone. the clouds were circling around, it was errie out there, during the morning, almost like the calm before the storm. we have a beautiful sunflower that's blossomed, and also lots of other flowers blossoming :) We're keeping an eye on the plants, especially the sunflowers by our front steps. the plants are holding up fairly well.we're gonna check in on them tomorrow morning. Wishing everyone safety, and comfort as the storm passes through.
