Trip Looking Good
The trip to Sara's is looking good. Finally got hold of her tonight. She said one of my nephews is going to try to give me ticket on Southwest Airlines. I told her the dates I could get off and she said she's talk to Steve, the nephew, tonight. Sooooo, I guess I'll start getting everything together for the trip. Go to Walmart and get the MP3 player and load it with relaxing music, the light timers, and the pill box. I need the pill box because I don't want to take my prescriptions in the bottles they come in because I get a 3 month supply at a time. I save a lot of money that way. By sending the prescriptions off, I can get a 3 month supply of the meds for the price of 1 month or less. Ordered a couple of new shirts to take with me. Got notice they're in the mail. In other things, I picked up 2 weekend shifts at work. Nothing big,,,a 3 hour shift last night and a 6 hour shift tonight. It'll be nice to get the overtime.

A little word of advice about your meds, mike. Make sure you take a list of your medications that you have in your pill box because the airport might question what all the drugs are for, and be tempted to cease them. I know my hubby has to take his actual pill bottles for when he crosses the border to let them know what he takes. Better yet, if you could get a list from your doctor about your prescriptions, that would be the best. I know you\'re getting excited about your trip. I know you\'ll have a great time... take your camera and take lots of pics for us here. Deb :0)
I\'m so glad the trip is coming together. The MP3 player is a great idea! When I went to Florida in April, I had a pill box too (I do the same thing with the 3 month supply - I save lots of money that way) and had no trouble because they\'re pills, not liquids. They didn\'t even question them. I did have to open up my CPAP machine bag though. Still, it was not a big deal because everybody has to go through security anyway!
It\'s going to be a good time. I also agree, take a list of meds signed by Dr. which also can be important incase of emergency, which is not going to happen. Sue
