Trigger Shot, Check!

Well I made it thru the ovidrel shot - DH did a good job but I guess it helped that he had a nice, plush cushion to stab (suddenly the extra few pounds isn't so bad!!!) I hardly felt it. But, I pinched my skin and gave him the target X spot and afterwards, I realized I think it was a bit too far from my belly button! It's probably about 2 inches further than it should have been - I hope it still works!?!??!

Don\'t worry about were you hit. Depending on RE\'s you either do your stomach or tuss so I\'m sure a inch or 2 won\'t make a difference. Glad you got through it ok.
I hope everything goes great this weekend. Can\'t wait to know how many the get !
You are doing so good with your first IVF.

They always told me to stick close to my panty line so it didn\'t hurt as much! Don\'t worry you will be fine! Good luck and I hope everything goes more to plan now!

It\'ll work. I think the location is more for sensitivity issues (to minimize pain) than a necessity to reach a specific spot. It\'s all absorbed in anyway. Good luck!

Way to go! I always did the tummy shots myself, but they can go anywhere in the belly area. The aim is to get it in the subcutaneous tissue i.e. belly fat.

For the PIO (if you are doing them) used a Sharpie to draw a silver dollar-sized circle so DH would know exactly where to do them. I had my nurse draw them the first time and we just re-drew them every few days. LOL - I did this for several cycles because I was so paranoid that the location had to be perfect...and it really doesn\'t.

Well, you are one step closer!!
