It took me two weeks to write this. I need to share it. Raped –– I am rape. In the Army one hot summer eve –– I’m nineteen, and quite naive. He was a solider, an army of one –– he is why I am, and all I’ve become. His duty, his honor, his “orders” to fill –– I trusted the Army, yet still I feel ill. With force, fear, and “duty” to “train” –– the life that I have, he took by that train. Friendly fire is “all” that was done –– my life from then, ‘till now, I’ve never know fun. His buttons he closed with a stare so cold –– I lay there watching, a sheep in his fold. His hand outreached eyes not true –– I let him raise me, from where he was through. With a hand on my neck, knife to my lips –– the pain and fire grew deep in my hips. “Good job soldier you’ve past the test” –– I did it! Whoa! I? I did it? Like the rest? A quite “Sshhh” he said is best –– how would it look if I ran back after a test? His “duty” done, without any plunder –– how many more, I still wonder?He went to sleep, in his own hole –– and oh NO! no I never told a soul.When drill was over he said a “goodbye” –– to this day, I still cry. He did me wrong but kept his lie –– and now I know, until I die. He is out there in the worldwide –– all I do is hide and hide. He is old or maybe dead –– fear is still within my head. A new notch on his gun –– and I’ve known no fun. His trophy earned –– and now I shall learn. Oh he did suppress –– and I regress. He did “train” –– however vain. He did it –– I live it.
