Trigger Day
So, it's CD 10 and I've been informed that I get to take my trigger shot TONIGHT! (10:15pm, 1000 units Pregnyl). ER is scheduled for 9:15am on Wednesday. Please, oh please, let them get some good eggs! (Though I guess just that one, special egg is all I need).
It's hard to be excited because so much can happen between now and my potential transfer day. Damn! It's crazy to want something so badly, but still hold yourself back, be rational, and not get your hopes up. This is such a mentally draining experience. It challenges you and your toughness (mentally & physically) at every turn. I hope I prove strong enough. And I hope my eggs/our embryos prove strong enough!
At least I can find comfort in feeling that we've down the right thing in taking this step into the world of IVF. It makes me feel like I have at least a little bit of control over this body that has, to this point, failed me. Go, body... GO!

Good Luck... This is such a big week for you! I am excited to here how the next few days go. I am sure it is going to be great. You are right... You should feel great about all the steps you have taken to get to this point. You are doing everything right.
Good luck! Treat yourself to a soothing bubble bath or something that helps you relax before the procedure. You\'ll definitely be thankful for it! Keep us posted on how the retrieval goes.
