Trick or creak
My right knee is the creaky one today, very painful. One by one, all my joints are joining in it seems. I'm very good at tuning out pain, thankfully. I still feel it, it's just that I have an easier time than most of focusing on more important matters.
I mean, yeah, it's excruciating and it's everywhere at once. I can cringe and wince and think about it, or I could just move on.
18 more days until the MRI. 18 more days to complete a bunch of stuff for the RCMP too. The work week is enough to finish me but I have rehearsals and concerts and now running around, getting things done that can't be done in my town so I have to drive into the city.My poor boyfriend has been extremely helpful, picking up extra chores or giving me back rubs here and there (even though the pain hasn't manifested in my back muscles) or just a sympathetic hug when I'm struggling. A hug where he holds me up so I don't have to stand on my own, because that can be difficult.
It's nice knowing that there are many out there who were in my shoes and who are now doing so much better. Even just respite from this flareup, make it go away!
