Tribute

Sweetheart
Life continuesto go on Greg and Jill gotmarried and bought a house. Jen announced on Thanksgiving that we were going to be grandparents again but unfortunately she is having a miscarriage so that dream for her has been delayed. The holidays were a celebration of good times and not anything like I thought they were going to be.I have joined 2 support groups and continue therapy with Celeste. I have surrounded my self with an extremely strong support network and I am doing amazingly good despite the shattered heart that you left me with. I have started a new relationship just like you wanted me to and that is going extremely well. She is so caring about my grief and you and your memory. In many ways she reminds me of you how she looks, talks and especially cares about me. The kids and I launched the following memorial in your name and so far we have received aver $6,500 in donations and I expect the total to exceeded $15,000. I am doing everything I can to keep your memory alive. I love you more today than I did on the day you died and my love for you continues to grow daily. I love you and miss you every minute of every day. Although I have to say it is a blessing to be happy once again and to know that you are by my side. Please keep watching over us.

You may have called her Jeanne or Jean, a few had the privilege of calling her Mom (Ma), one special person called her Nana but I was the most fortunate I called her Sweetheart. She may have been your Mother (in-law), Daughter (in-law), Sister (in-law), Aunt(ie), Cousin, Godmother, Neighbor, Friend or Wife. You may have just met her or have known her your whole life or any amount of time in between. Regardless what your relationship, how long you knew her or what you called her one thing was certain Jeanne left a lasting impression on our lives.

Jennifer, Patrick, Gregory and myself wanted to find a way to honor her memory. We have decided to launch a fundraiser for Bread and Roses a local food pantry in Jeanne's memory. Bread and Roses was a charity that Jeanne personally supported during her life. She made monthly donations of food, supplies and financial support to Bread and Roses for the past 18 years. One of the first things she said after receiving her diagnosis is "who is going to take care of my food donations to Bread and Roses". During her illness one of our friends and member of our BBS staff continued to make the monthly food donation which brought Jeanne much comfort during her illness . In June another friend and staff member requested that she have the honor of providing the monthly donation in Jeanne memory going forward. We decided that it would be a great tribute to Jeanne to continue to support Bread and Roses by having a fundraiser and food drop off in her memory. We have set up a site to receive donations on Go Fund Me in her honor and in February in memory of her 1st anniversary we will have an event for a food drop off or other essentials that the food pantry may need to help individuals in need. Below you will find the web site for Bread and Roses to find out more information on this charitable organization and a link to Go Fund Me to donate in Jeanne's memory. We will provide additional information about the February food drop off in the coming months.

We have been working very closely with the Executive Director at Bread and Roses regarding this fundraising campaign. The proceeds from this endeavor will be used for repairs to the building and a capital improvements. This campaign will provide funding to purchase an outdoor refrigerator so they can accept larger food donations, repairs to the front porch, and other building repairs depending on the success of this fundraiser.

In the spirit of giving Time, Treasure and Talent our company has extended an offer to Bread and Roses to prepare their payroll at no cost which should save them about $3,000 per year in expenses. If you have a talent and you would like to donate your time they are in need of construction help to rebuild their front porch as well as other tasks that require skilled and unskilled help.

If you could please be as generous as you can to make this a very successful campaign in Jeanne's honor but more importantly to help those in need.

Please share this fundraiser with anyone you know that would want to honor Jeanne.

Jeanne would be so pleased that you are living your life rather then just existing in a state of grief. The memorial is a perfect remembrance as she cared deeply about this charity. Have a good Christmas, Dave. Patti
