treated k's cat at his house//rn rescued cat via sherrif's office//65 degrees out
called m to make sure there is space for the kitties that were scheduled to go in for adoption today. no call back. he had an adoption even that was supposed to be over by 1:00 p.m. and its about an hour away from here. then rn calls and say, by now, it doesn't matter two of the kittens that should have gone over there to be adopted are sniffling. it happens often at night with this bunch, which to me means allergies.
the sheriff's office called last night or their dispatcher. at least they asked instead of just dropping off. (i also saw a white and black stray on pierce that i want to try to make friends with and left it food. its all dirty. reminds me of jon. you want to look away and if you can truly help it, white cats end up beautiful, though that wouldn't be the only reason. there are a lot of boarded houses over there and i don't know if its because the club on the water is expanding or something worse. hope it safe.
the sheriff's office needed a rescue done so rn did it. she says the animal is terrified and can't go in to get fixed when its like this anyway. moreover, someone in that development was doing rescue and either died or moved. now was she with a group or was she feeding strays and not fixing, because if you don't fix them by five months of age, that is when you run into troubles male or female. females can get pregnant at five months and males will learn to spray if you wait too long. rn says there are a lot of animals walking about, i hope someone owns them or is caring for them, its too far from here to check on them unless she wants to or knows someone there.
then k calls. his oldest cat - age 14 - who was the first "kitten" at his house when he started rescuing by accident has an ear infection. he says its the only thing ax did right since he has been there without charging him MONEY for it, and that is another story. ax owes k $1200 and robbed his house two months ago, then turns up after getting out of jail asking to stay there for three days, (that was six weeks ago) and still hasn't written a check for the $1200 he owes, and after january the amount will be $1400 and go up from there. i already wrote something on this as a comment on my 12/25/14 journal. its too pissy to go into.
so the cat's ear sounds gruesome and i make sure i go over there on my way up north with ear drops, ear cleansing solution and antibiotic that he started the animal on this morning. however, i don't see any infection and my guess is its ear mites and the animal was scratching like crazy to get at the mites...i don't know this i'm guessing so i still need to return to give it ear mite medicine as i didn't bring that one. the animal acts normal, but i think its having trouble hearing, that can be infection inner ear, or ear mites, untreated or old age. she's 14. but something is wrong. luckily ax wasn't there, which is odd because he is on house arrest, doesn't he have to stay put? thought he did. k won't monitor him anymore and he is pissed in general about the whole thing. he likes that work is getting done but he doesn't like paying the man (he is not a "kid" anymore at 25) when he owes k $1200. the whole thing is ludicrious anyway. how long is it going to go on for? rn and the cop said the same thing, for as long as you let it. he was told not to let him in if he returned and to call the police and he didn't. at the new house they are furious all over again from just seeing him at the house at all and will continue calling the police even if he doesn't do anything wrong, just to get him gone.
i get up north and there is a letter waiting from the guy that does this YEARLY. every year he wants his schedule at work changed and he wants this AFTER requesting the previous change. if he wasn't so reliable i would fire him. here we go again. so there it is, his yearly letter. i have letters from him from 2013, 2014 and here is his 2015 letter. grrrr. he requested fridays at an earlier time then recommended. i gave it to him. so he writes that he "hates" that shift. are you 13 years old? and in writing. i told him its getting written into his record just as his "letter" last year did and he is claiming medical reasons for the change then another letter from his doctor. then he'll get the change and bring ANOTHER letter from his doctor saying he can drive anytime. this guy is about 45, who the hell does shit like this at 45. he is the same guy that wanted a shift change because he recognized people at the office park from high school in 1989 and thinks they are talking about him. they don't even remember him. he also likes to bully new employees. lots of things. we have c who is like a uriah heep and recently caught by the guy above me doing that kind of shit and now we have this one.
went shopping with a at dollar tree. went in there for ONE item, chicken cutlet and walked out with five bags, not good. the guy that had open heart surgery is back and rude as ever, wish he wasn't here. i don't trust him. he's creepy. odd to have open heart surgery at 47 years of age, they said he has the heart of a 90 year old. and why come back? if you can be on disability and you can't be stressed why come back here? ditto with the guy who had the two strokes, had one, returned to work and had another two days later. he is back again. wouldn't it be wiser to just do charity work and be done with it? relax. you only live once. you are done. if you have a heart attack, its over. take painting lessons or go fishing or something.
