Treasure
You never what you will find when you're not looking for it. I was looking for some crazy glue and found a treasure,,,four photographs I didn't know existed and can't remember seeing. Two of them are of the first house I remember living in and may mean it wasn't the first house I lived in. They were labeled 1947 and show the home without grass on the lawn and no fences in the back yard. Another one is of my grandfather in his back yard showing the chicken coop, smokehouse and chickens. There's no date on it. The other is of me, apparently working on a plastic model in the kitchen in 1958. You can see our tv in the doorway. It was on rollers and when pushed to the right, could be viewed in our living room and when pushed to the left and back a little, could be viewed from the screened in back porch through a window. You can seen a part of the porch to the left. The big plaque on the wall says, "God Bless Our Mortgaged Home". My dad crossed out "Mortgage" and put "1964" above it when he paid it off. Guess I'd better start looking for the crazy glue again. Wonder what I'll find this time.
