Transgendered day of Remembrance Reflections
So tomorrow is the Transgendered Day of Remembrance and I have to say that I am thankful to be 31 and in this place of solace and love in my life. I have lost A LOT of trans friends due to social ignorance. Each day I learn to love myself just as much as my fiancee loves me and embrace myself fully. I made it to my transitional birthday of 14. Yes I've had some trials and tribulations and met some awesome people along the way and some assholes also. I am not victim anymore and I've relinquished the SURVIVOR title. I am a warrior. I've realized that people will only hurt you as much as you allow them to hurt you and can't hurt me anymore than I used to hurt myself. For my trans brothers and sisters I've lost along the way, I love you all and continue to watch over everyone including the IGNORANT BIGOTS.
