Transfer on Monday

I know I don't really write that much anymore. I think I'm just so busy at work which really distracts me from the everyday infertility grind, also I feel a lot stronger this time around.
A part of me feels like maybe this cycle won't work and maybe the FET will work (if I'm lucky enough to get a frozen embie). But I think I have that in my head because that's what happened last time. I have to remind myself that this is a fresh new cycle and anything could happen so I'm still hopeful.
They collected 7 eggs on Wednesday - Woot Woot! I'm so happy. I thought I was gonna only have like 4 because I had only 4 follies mature enough in the scan. The nurse seemed amused by my chirpy demeanour as I went giddy over my beautiful 7 eggs, where I'm sure there are other women with heaps more eggs than I. It was such a change of attitude from my first time collecting. The first time I was so depressed and I avoided contact with anyone. This time I yearned for IF conversation from my fellow IF sisters, but I guess they were at the stage I was a year ago and didn't really make eye contact with me.
I'm on the Bondi Protocol for my highly active NKC, the theory in which I MC'd last time. It involves taking x4 Prednisone tablets and a Clexane injections every night after collection until the pregnancy test OR if I get pregnant, until Week 20. They are definitely not as easy as the Gonal-F's and they sting. The first time I did it I was shocked at that sting and found it painful, I got so scared that this would be my life for a while, injections everyday for however long. But I guess it's all worth it. That thought didn't stop me from getting nightmares last night of the needle. I tried not to freak out though and let it get the better of me. Tonight it wasn't too bad. I got some tips from the good ol internet and I I think I could tolerate it.
The things we do for our future baby.
Other news, everyone at my new job knows now we're going through IVF. I have to say it is one of the most liberating choices I ever made. I'm so glad I'm being more open about it and treating it as not such a taboo. It makes me feel more normal, less broken. Just another being trying to get by in this world with my own struggles, and other people have their shit as well. Hiding made me feel ashamed, now I feel relieved and more like me. Also, it's crazy to know how many people actually know someone going through IVF or infertility. It's so common. Discovering it made me feel so normal and common, and less like a freak of nature. So that's been a positive thing for me. It's also made me feel like I could handle this if it's for the long term.... just.
Please Lord, I want to jump off this roller coaster soon.
Hopefully this cycle ends in a full term healthy baby (these injections better be worth it hehe)
Fingers crossed and lots of prayers!
Good luck to everyone else as well, here's to hoping for everyone on here.

Holy crap, already???? That was so fast!! I\'m praying so hard that you get your miracle, after everything you have been through you deserve it.

I got 9 eggs at my last retrieval and I was over the moon about it, even though I heard them telling the (severely overweight and obviously several years older than I) woman next to me that she had something obscene like 27. All it takes is 1!! Keep us posted :)
