Transfer
I got a call from the nurse this morning, 11 of my eggs fertilized and they are all developing well with the exception of 1 slow poke embryo. I am still not allowing myself to get excited and just taking it one step at a time. I will have a day 5 transfer on Tuesday which is awesome, but still really nervous about everything. I am also still in a lot of pain from the aspiration, abdominal pain, bloating, cramps, etc. Just started the Crinone, which has all of those same side effects so not looking forward to that but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end.

Thats wonderful news! And good luch on the transfer, looks like I will be about a wee or so behind you. Just stay positive, my nurse told me that the best environment for an embryo transfer is a positive one! listen to your favorite music, pamper yourself, enjoy one of your guiltiest pleasures! Let me know how it goes! The ER caused these symptoms? I am so nervous about that! Good luck Tuesday!
Yes the ER caused a lot of abdominal pain, they are poking each follicle with a needle to suction the egg out so if i had 13 eggs, they poked me 13 times so it can cause some pain. A little TMI but if you can learn from my experience then why not, but all the medications and the anesthesia on top of that can cause constipation so that doesnt help with the abdominal pain either. I wasn\'t really keeping track of how often I went and before I realized it it had been probably 5 days so I would try to prevent that before it even happens if I were you. I used Miralax and it worked pretty well. I still have bloating and cramps but i just keep telling myself it\'s worth it.
Oh also, I\'m not sure if you are going to take Medrol like I am, started it the night of the ER. Just a heads up, it tastes disgusting and the flavor stays in your mouth and throat. I have to drink it with flavored water and then eat something directly after just to get the taste out of my mouth!
Wow... You numbers are great! I so hope your Fresh transfer works for you. We were not that luck. But I know many people who were blessed with a BFP on a fresh transfer. And you are clearly going to have some embryos in the banks... which is amazing. I hope you are feeling a little better now. Good luck!
Thanks Bell101! We transferred 1 fresh embryo and were able to freeze 2, so I am hopeful but can\'t help but feel pessimistic because of prior experience, but trying really hard to stay positive!
