Tranquil Tuesday

Ahhh, it's Tuesday. I so hate Monday. Always have, always will.
Missing the kids a lot. Probably because it's almost Mother's day. I just want to hug them and hang out with them. Sad.
Um, happy stuff. I read on a blog to pick a word this year to be your word. So I did. And my word is strong. And my second word is happy. I started noticing that I would ask myself "how are you today?" And my answer was usually "tired. I'm tired." So I started changing the answer to "I am strong. I am happy." Sounds kinda dorky, but it works for me. I am strong and I am happy. I'm not strong physically, but I do have strong things inside me. Been broken and fixed up a lot in my life. Sometimes I had no choice but to fix myself by myself, sometimes friends were there for me. One of my friends asked me once - after not seeing each other for years - does the divorce make you stronger? Does going through the death of your daughter make you stronger?" I answered with a quiet "Hell no. It all chips away at you." I don't know who made up the saying "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger." I don't think that's true. Okay, so that was a tangent I got off on. Supposed to be talking about my strength and my happy and instead I get into my sad. Oops.
So anyway, maybe I trick myself when I say I am strong, I am happy. Oh well. It keeps me going for another day, or hour, or minute. Ha.
I am giving myself a hug. And now a hug for the whole wide world. I am strong. I am happy.

Dee Dee, It truly is nice to see you posting again. I don\'t for a second think it\'s dorky, and it for sure isn\'t any worst than what I say each morning \"I got up looking at the flowers from the correct direction\" talk about dorky, but it starts my day with a smile. And my dear sweet friend you are infact Strong and Happy, and you make me smile, and I wish I could give you a big ole hug. Please take care, sorry for delay in responding. take care, Bill
