Tragic Accident
I'm still here and planning on finishing Mike's story, it's just life threw me a curve ball and it brought up a lot of things I had buried in the back of mine.
My mom sent me message last Saturday that really rocked me. Close friend of the family and actually they are family because we have known them for 30 some odd years. Had a tragic accident happen, her granddaughter was killed by a train. My heart sunk to the ground because I couldn't believe what I heard. My heart went out to the Mom of the young woman who was killed.Megan was a beautiful young lady who had a rough road but managed to make it through school. She would of graduated this June.I sent the Mom a message and told I would be there for her always.I can't go home for the funeral but I let the Mom know when I do come home,we'll get together. It's so sad that this tragic accident happen. There's so much more to this but I just can't speak of at this time.I can say that children need to have guidance and respect for other human beings for that is what Megan deserved. She deserved to have a life where other kids didn't bully her.I found that to be so unfair. Why do kids have to be so mean? I went through when I was school but it was never talked about.I think bullying should be taught in school about how it affects another person and the things it can do to one's mind.Although it should actually be taught at home also.
Life comes at you fast...make sure to make that call to someone you haven't spoken to years and say I love you and I just want to say hello.3 simple words can change someone's day. Peace, memories and love u all.......

My heart aches for that mom,, how sad,,, I send my prayers,,,, love ya!
I\'m so very sorry to hear this terribly tragic news. My love and prayers for Megan\'s family and friends.
And yes, I couldn\'t agree more, bullying MUST STOP! We\'ve lost so many wonderful children due to bullying. I do believe schools are taking it much more seriously these days. Makes me wonder if the parents are really aware of if they themselves are bullies. There are adult bullies too.
I LOVE YOU! The three most powerful words we can give and/or receive.
And as our dear founder always told us here, \"teach only love, for love is all there is\".
LOVE to you!
LOVE to Mike!
What a tragedy for Meagan\'s family... I will include them in my prayers
A dreadful thing. My daughter was bullied, I hired an educational malpractice attorney and dragged in the local political activists. End result: it stopped, all right. Principal was fired. Vice Principal went into \"early retirement\". Too late for my kid, she carried the memories for years until they finally resolved in her early 20s because something worse was brewing, a deadly psychosis. We all know there is little consolation for Megan\'s mother, but knowing there are others out there who understand all too well what she is suffering is of some small comfort.
That is so tragic. Another life lost. I too feel so sad for Megan\'s mom and family. We know all too well what is in store.
Bullying is so rampant these days. I don\'t blame parents as a general rule. But I do believe that kids often learn these behaviours at home. If the see it, they are likely to do it. We live in an angry society.
Hopefully, love will win out.
Love and hugs,
Marlene
So so sad...I can\'t believe how bullying has escalated to the point it has...it is beyond sad. So sorry.
