Toxic Me - II

When I point a finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointed back at me. This is day two of my finger pointing exercise. Yesterday I pointed my hoary finger of blame for the Toxic People psychology at the original author, Doctor Lillian Glass. She isnae a doctor of psychology, but neither was Sigmund Freud. Dunno how well I did at focusing the issue behind the vicious triggering I do when I hear/read Toxic People talk.

Am I ready to lift the hoary finger of blame to look at the 3 fingers pointed back at me? Dunno. . . I still donae feel very clear on the yaddahs of the blah. It still feels like a slang fest. I never did make sense of the "Plastic People" slang fest which was popular in the 60's and have barely tried for the half century of slang cycles since. Gag me with a spoon. . . Go right on ahead and start the party without me, my fashionable ones.

Is one of the three fingers pointed back at me pointing to flashbacks of the 5 High Schools it took for me to drop out of 10th grade twice. I went to High School in 4 separate regions of the US. Literally Coast to Coast. Latest fashion in California looked shockingly different than the latest in the midwest and different still in Philadelphia. Girl howdy, I was brutalized by the fashion divas. Even the adult powers that be joined in that bullying. No way the Midwest farm communities wanted California fashion in their schools. And where am I going to get the money to replace my entire wardrobe? Got guidance? Plasticize me, oh properly attired one.

For sure, the "Plastic People" bashing sessions of that era are one place I have been flashing back to during the Toxic People dialogs. It was quite popular among the folks who helped me transition into the next level of prostitution. All the mainstream bullies were "Plastic People." I think. Maybe. For sure that be one of my most damaged memory zones. None of these memories are welcome or cherished. Can I reconsider that frontal lobotomy now? Do I really have to sort this crap?

Chew chew. . . Still sorting. . .

*raises hand* For what it's worth, I think you only have to sort what's relevant to you in the now-and-future. We're all someone else's Toxic Villain, is what I figure, even if all we "did" was be born, or walk by on their worst-day-ever and somehow not know it, whatever it is... I'v ebeen an utter bitch to several people in life, my cherished Hubby among them, and been played by manipulators, and I'd really like to have that memory erase button now.... *paw bump*

"Toxic Villain". . . I LOVE it, Leo. Consider it plagiarized! It's not just for Tree Huggers any more.

Ditto on ""Toxic Villain""
We did, do the best we can...plain and simple...with what we got
I too am for present day living, learning from the past, with hope for the future...
even if I 'don't feel' the hope, I know 'it's' there waiting for me to find.
