Tough to Be Godly
When all one sees around one is lust, greed, selfishness, foolhardiness and addiction to the "big show". Maybe I'm hangin' out with the wrong crowd, but it seems the flash and dazzle is all there is. Hone the diamond down and you see that it is a lump of coal, shit.

Hmmm...I know how that feels....but you know something? Even if you hang out with highly spiritual ppl whose aim in life to be \"healers\" to others.....you will see all of this in some of those ppl to....that is the human ego that is speaking not the pure higher self.
When this happens to me....I just detach from the world for an hour or so....do a grounding meditation so that I am back in my energies again and then ask for like minded and good hearted friends through law of attraction.....soon enough someone new comes into my life who has the kind of views I want in my company......but this is a process...plz dont try and expect someone or yourself to be perfect through it......but eventually you\'ll get there : )
I love to go out camping to get away from the \"world\". personally, i cannot stand all the shit out there. being in the peaceful environment of nature is so grounding, spiritual,and healing. i camped for 4 months last summer and it was absolutely amazing. do you like to camp, hike....?

You just re-energized my \"priority\", my \"direction\"! idahogirl, haven\'t been camping since I camped out for 4 nights straight during Civil War reenactments at Antietam, MD, and Gettysburg, PA! It was fantastic! Just listening to the crickets and the guys and girls laughing and cheering around me...maybe a cannon or musket going off in the distance...got in touch with that \"primordial hind brain\" and re-energized the heart! Wanna do that again...where do you camp?
When I feel this way I read something like Guideposts magazine. Something uplifting. Certainly the news will never report the good people out there giving of their time, love and money to help others. There is goodness in this world. It is just hidden. Seek it out. Spend a whole day looking for the hidden goodness. I do this and it is very reassuring in a dismal world. You, Koolman, are a cool man! Hugs. --Gem
ugh! yes, ppl can be so shallow, petty, mean and even downright evil sometimes. I just have to leave them alone when they are like that.
