Tough month
Been crashing for over a month. I think I am finally seeing daylight again.
December was a busy month for me and kept me down most of the time. we hosted our company Christmas party for our employees at our house the first of the month. Then had Christmas with friends in St Louis the next weekend, then had Christmas with our children and grandkids the next week, then went to see my dad for Christmas (he is 80) in southeast Missouri, then his sister died (my aunt) and had to go back to Missouri the very next week. Had a quiet night in for New Years and slept through it.
I'm glad December is over. Not gonna do that again! I am, thank goodness, starting to feel a little better.
Was diagnosed with CFS in 2014. It was a year of mourning my old self and defining my new self/life (still doing this) looking forward to a better year in 2015.
thank you to all my friends on DS for you help and words of encouragement as we journey through this path together.

You really DID have a busy month, my friend. If you were just diagnosed last year, you are still probably just becoming familiar with \"pacing\". None of us ever get it right! LOL! We do too much, then pay the price by getting confined to bed. I\'m in the second week of a nasty crash myself right now. Nothing to do, but rest. It\'s all we can do! And wait! The energy does come back, we just have to learn to be patient.
This disease is so nasty! It\'s a life stealer, isn\'t it? Just pace your activities. Do a little less each day....space things out. Not too much at once, ya know? Now, I\'ll let you know if I ever learn to practice what I preach!!! Pffffffft! xoo
