Tough Ending to a Week

Thursday, my wife and I went to the local hospital, to visit some my church members, who are patients there.  As we were getting ready to get on the elevators, a man was being wheeled in a wheelchair.  I recognized him and we talked briefly.  I told him I would be up to see him before I left.  We made our other visits then, went up to his room.  We visited a while and he was setting on the edge of the bed taking a breathing treatment.  He laid down and said he was getting tired. We had a word of prayer with him and I told him I would be back to see him in a day or two.  Last night, I got a call, I rushed to the hospital and he died at 12:05 this morning.  I stayed with the family till about 1:15, then I came home about 1:30 am.  I got up this morning, went to the local coffee shop and the guy who was going to sell me his house, when he moved to Florida, told me that his Dr. called him at home at 6 pm yesterday evening and told him that he has lung cancer.  Another friend of mine came in a told me, with tears in his eyes that his 18 year old grandson has a tumor in his heart.  All these guys are friends of mine and this is very tough to deal with.
