Tough ceremony tonight!
Sweatlodge seemed extra-hot tonight (Wow, DS edited this sentence all on their own, to change my wording! Creepy!). Good people, though, and I met one new guy who will likely become a good friend. We all went to Denny's for dinner afterward, and I just returned, which is why I'm on DS after midnight. My friend James, the holy man who runs the cermony, says he has a very special gift for me. It's polite to trade, so I need something for him, too. I know what he wants - a buffalo-hide hand drum to sing with inside the lodge ceremony - but I'm not sure I can afford it right now. Maybe I'll sell plenty of books. It's only fair to make a nice gift to him in return, especially after all he's done for me and my loved ones over the past year. I'll let everyone know how this turns out.

I got to sleep right after I wrote in. i just had to sit and relax a bit first, so I dropped by to visit. Most of my DS time is in the day, when I\'m at work, and in the evenings I separate myself from it for my own time. But YAWN, I\'m tired this morning.
I would like to help with that if you would let me...
What part do you mean, \"help with\"? Do mean the ceremony, the drum, or what? Those drums are a coupla hundred bucks. I wouldn\'t ask for that from you. But please come to the next ceremony, because I think I know what James is giving me, and you\'ll want to be there too!
I found out from my mentor they have sweat houses in a town close to me, she thinks she is going to get me to go with her..........heeeee, whatever, not going to happen after her funny experience, and i cant say what happened............lol
Be VERY careful, You do NOT want to get involved with a new-age \"sweat lodge.\" A lot of crystal-and-earth-goddess types have taken on this stuff, and it\'s not done properly. Make sure it\'s conducted by traditional Native spiritual leaders who are acknowledged as leaders in their tribal communities, because I don\'t want to see you get harmed.
