tough day

this morning I went out to ride my Harley to coffee.  the battery was dead.  My nephew came over and borrowed my truck to go get his motorcycle at a shop 18 miles away.  I came home from coffee shop, got ready to paint my waterfall before I put it in the yard.  I got a phone call from a lady in my church.  She wanted me to come to the courthouse in support of her brother who was on trial for child molestation.  She said to bring everyone I could because the Public Defender said we needed to make a good showing in from of the jury the last day before deliberations begin.  I made several phone calls but, no-one was home so, I called her back, left a voice mail and told her I would be coming by myself but, I would have to change clothes because I was getting ready to paint. I changed clothes, started over to the courthouse 18 miles away and my phone rang again.  It was my sister tellingme that my nephew had broken down with my truck and he was stranded at a tire shop.  I called the lady back, told her I had to go get my nephew that was stranded and may not make it to the courthouse. I found my nephew and asked him what happened.  He said he didn't know.  There was antifreeze all under the truck.  I checked the hoses and they looked ok.  I then went to wal-mart, got antifreeze, filled it up and started it.  I told him to follow me and we would go get his motorcycle.  I got about 200 ft and the truck would not move.  I pushed it across the street into a service station and I opened the hood.  There was transmission fluid running out all over the ground and antifreeze every where so, I just closed the hood, brought my nephew home and called a friend of mine who runs a garage, to come get my truck.  I never did make it to the court house and now this lady will probably be upset with me.  What a day.
