Totally on hold. For now...
Too bad I can only spend my money once, but so glad to not have pets I can't afford to properly take care of! There will come a day - a very fine day - when I shall have a pair of cats to help me get along, and to whom I can give a properly loving home where all their needs will be met of a certainty! :)

It\'s a hard time for all of us financial. So watch the manic spending sprees. I\'m the same way the cat situation. I\'d rather do right by the catt and not have one because I can\'t afford to look after them correctly and spend that bit more on food and vet care. As well as buying things like a cat run and enclosures.
While I shouldn\'t be spending one penny that I don\'t absolutely have to, the only reason I don\'t have cats is because I\'m not mentally up to being adequately responsible for another living creature.
Some day, we shall all have our kitties!!!!!!
I have a husband who begged for a cat that he no longer plays with or takes care of. My children have a dog they begged for that they don\'t play with or take care of. The responsibility has been placed on my best bud and me to take care and play with pets we didn\'t seek out. Well I agreed to the dog. We can now afford them, but pets need daily love like humans.
I think cats will make perfect pets for me - at least they\'ll be with me in the house when I\'m in a protracted depression, but just can\'t afford them yet. Playing with them, loving them, cleaning the litterbox, no prob. Buying the food, the litter, the vet bills, BIG prob! LOL
