torrential rain//dinner at k's//"a stolen life" bette davis 1946//bandit and sapphire died

having torrential rains for passed couple of days.   mr called about her mobile that is for sale, its a double-wide, which the woman never put a deposit on even though mr said she already received the check from her a month ago when mr cancelled all the other people who wanted to see it, and was complaining about getting phone calls.   what the hell.  who does moronic things like this and WHY lie?  who are you trying to impress with you "not real sale"... only to have to call back and request help again and admit you lied?  grrrrr.
its amazing how many people are like two different people when they have money and when they are broke.  some are nicer rich and some are nicer broke.  mr is nicer rich.  stef is nicer broke and talked to them recently by accident as well, because i need a landscaper and i kept thinking, this guy's voice is so familiar, and its stef's husband with a different cell phone.  lol.
put mr's ad back up and the woman who wanted to buy it a month ago is still looking and thrilled its available and called 3 times and e mailed me.  i said to mr, if these mobiles really sell so easy, i'll bother getting a license and selling them.  that and a cam i was interested in getting...a few certificates like that, if my brain is even capable of it.  what a thing to think but lately, i still get the stupid brain surges and absolutely HAVE TO have the second blood pressure pill or i'm in big trouble.  so weird to actually NEED medicine to survive.  but then you look at someone like kv who has medical problems since birth - serious ones like open heart surgery, and you thank your lucky stars.
mr also had elena's son clean out the mobile and take all of her clothes to sell at their shop (mr used to be a shopaholic and then hoard the clothes.  many of the clothes are still in the store bags with the labels on them!  and have been sitting like that for YEARS.  and then she would buy more.  just PILES of bags like that.  she also goes "thrifting" she calls it, and has bags of those as well.)  hmmmm.  elena's husband never finished ANY of the cosmetics/repairs on the other mobile which is why mr lost ALL profit on it and a few grand more, total loss, so WHY is she using elena to sell them and splitting ANYTHING with her.  why be in business with her at all.  her son charges $50 for this.  why PAY any of them when they caused the loss to begin with?  PLUS they owe her money as she paid a $2000 veterinary bill for them over a year ago.  that whole thing is sickening.  why bother with any of them at all.  it makes no sense.  she is thinking more with honey than vinegar, how about they are using you, get a different business partner.  get a clue.  and just hire someone else for the store.  going into business with anyone is always so tricky anyway.  i bet elena and her brood are stealing from mr's shop as well.
had dinner at k's.  great as always.  we watched "a stolen life" with bette davis, she plays two twin sisters, one of whom dies.  i'm a fan of her's.  1946.  been enjoying old movies again.  i used to watch stuff like this when i was a kid, with one of my step mother's.  back then the really oldies were on around 1 a.m. and back then tv would actually go "off" and made a funny noise.  remember that?
lots of fun, but the movies were even older back then.  30's i think.  where the black and white film itself is like watching history.  i like 40's movies, they are always very "grand" the styles are fabulous.  like the topper movies, or the dagwood and blondie sitcoms.  k made chopped steak with sauce and parm cheese, veggies, bought extra wine, sweet for him and dry for me and bean soup, the beans you use for chili.  all fabulous.  his stomach is still messed up when he drinks alcohol and i told him straight out, i think he has an ulcer.  how about going to a doctor?  and chocolate biscotti with coffee.
k's cat that had brain cancer died.  the cat was missing for 3 days and the dog found her under the end table next to the loveseat in the den.  we sit there to eat dinner and watch movies, seems odd we didn't notice.  but k says the chair next to it blocks it anyway.  jazzie found her today.  she was at the house.  she was born at the house, 8 years ago.  she chose to live there.  cats do that.  they choose you, kind of thing.  her name was bandit.  she was solid grey.  he says she was the only cat of his, that never gave him any trouble at all.  perfectly trained.  she would run and hide if i showed up because i had adopted her out two times and she never forgave me for it.  she and another kitten, princess, a black cat that rg ended up being adopted by.  both kittens were returned the two times they were adopted.  they only wanted to by by k's house.  its happened a few times with him.
k says, she was always a good cat.  he left a sort of eulogy on my voice mail.  he sounds upset about it.  the cat had been on meds with pain killers for around a month or two now, i think.  but the cancer was still eating away at her head and she was still bleeding all the time - large droplets of blood, all over the place.  she did much better with the meds at first, and seemed perky (makes you admire hospice) and then she stopped eating much of anything a few days ago.  he knew it was coming.
mr's cat sapphire died.  also a grey cat - russian blue, super shiny.  her friendliest cat,  about age five.  she said it went into another part of their house to eat something with m.  the cat wasn't sick.  and then keeled over?  sounds like an aneurysm or a stroke?  what a weird week.

We all have weeks like that. So sad about the cats. Yeah, when a cat dies suddenly like that they probably had a clot that moved and it kills them. Like a massive stroke in people. Why? Only God knows.
I found out trailers sell different in different parts of FL. I guess that has to do with the area.
Take care Hugs!!

a friend of mine purchased SIX trailers \"mobile homes\" two years ago with the intention of flipping them, because someone else i know made 500,000 over a ten year period flipping mobile homes. good idea, but how about do ONE at a time, like HE DID. not six at once when you have never done flips before. the problem with mobiles is you have to pay lot rent whether the home is lived in or not. lot rent, is really how the parks make money and some parks will also make deals on the moibles that they own. people also make deals, with low or no interest (no interest is best, just choose a price and keep it simple). i advertise for her because she does rescue and doesn\'t seem to know how to sell large items like a house. so far they DO go fast, but she sits on them for so long before she actually allows them to be sold, that she loses about 4000 on what would be profit on each one. the trick is to keep the payment low, like $200 and then add a lot rent of 350 (many of pools and clubhouses) and the buyer has a good deal. the mobiles are generally paid off in around 5 years. no credit check. just a felony check. for a person on social security of any sort, it works out well.
