The second agent I spoke with didn't offer me much options cross border logistics only than to wait because if I scalated now, it'd be too late and I'd only be getting it at the same time as if I didn't scalated. I used AusPost tracking app on my phone and add the tracking number of things I buy locally, off eBay or AliExpress. All purchases accounted for and tracking numbers added to my AusPost account. Shipping info received by Australia Post on 12 September, and only just today has it finally made it to Sydney.

It's also frustrating that the tracking ID provided by Australia Post is completely different to the tracking ID provided by Aliexpress. I presume some intermediate logistics company (UCL?) inserts it into the Auspost delivery stream, applying a second sticker over the original for local delivery. I have several parcels in transit, so I'm not really sure which one is about to arrive.
