Tooth Pulled Tomorrow

I'm finally getting my tooth pulled tomorrow. It's been bugging me for weeks now, and I'm glad I'm going to get rid of it. The only thing that sucks is that I'm going to have a bigger hole in my mouth. I already had my wisdom teeth out, and this is the molar next to that one on the left side. I won't be able to chew very well on that side. I guess it's better than having food getting stuck in the missing chunk of tooth that's there now. I know it's going to hurt, and I'm not looking forward to the pain. I don't know if I'm going to be able to work tomorrow. I don't know if I can talk on the phone after the procedure. I don't remember much from when I had my wisdom teeth out as for the talking and stuff. I don't remember having that big of a problem and I was eating normal food the day after. I even ate chips, and I paid for that. One of them hit me in the scab where my tooth used to be. Now I know not to do that lol.
I went to work today, and I was being bounced from place to place. I started off in Managed Care and was there for about an hour when I decided I wanted to get something to eat from the cafeteria. So I walk over there and I see my old boss from the Information Desk, Daisy, getting her lunch. She said that she needed someone at the Information Desk that could do the things that she can do, since she has her own work to do. So they pulled me from Managed Care to the Information Desk. I was at the Information Desk for a bit, and the girls in Managed Care weren't happy. They called my boss and told him that I was needed back in Managed Care, so I went back there. It's nice to be needed in so many places.
It just makes me wonder about me getting a job there. I'm not going to be able to get a job in Managed Care, no matter how much I like it there. You need an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) degree to do it for some unknown reason. I don't think my Bachelors is going to cover that, even though I know just as much as the people who work there. I know the boss there, Ms. Williams, doesn't know how good I am at my job there, so she hasn't started to fight for me to work there. But the other girls do, so they fight for me to work with them. I'm thinking tomorrow if I can, to go in for a couple of hours and just do stuff on the computer. I have to wake up early in the morning to get my tooth pulled, so I was figuring I could come home and take a nap and then go back to work at my normal time. It just depends on how I feel. And then there's a luncheon for the volunteers on Wednesday at 11:30 that my boss wants me to go to. I'm not going to turn down free food lol. I will watch what I eat and not eat a bunch of junk. They are pretty good about getting healthy food, like salads and stuff.
Speaking of food, today I was good. I was in my calorie range and everything, and I even had a small piece of cake at work. I had my normal mini wheat bagel with peanut butter for breakfast, potato soup for lunch and chicken breast with sauteed zucchini for dinner. This was my first time cooking zucchini on my own, and I think I did a good job. Geo liked it too, so it's something that I want to be adding to our diet. I think we need to get more fresh veggies into our diet. We do have cans of corn and spinach, but it's not the same. I also eat a lot of salad when I can get my hands on it... it's sometimes hard to get my hands on fresh veggies when we don't have a car. Once we get all of our hurricane supplies together, I want to start going to the farmers market down here. We would need to have the car on the weekend, but it would be great to get my hands on fresh fruits and veggies. The farmers market down here even takes food stamps!
Mood today was good... It was nice to be wanted. I woke up originally at 10, but I decided I wanted to sleep in. I then woke up around 11:45, and that's when I started getting ready for work. I made it to work on time, and then they were fighting over me. We will see how tomorrow goes... I know I'm going to be in a lot of pain, but I have Vicodin to help get me through. I don't know if I should take one before I go in. I don't know how long it's going to take for it to kick in, and I don't know how long I'm going to be waiting to see the dentist. I know that they are going to have anesthesia for me, but I don't know how long it's going to last. Well, the only thing I can do is wait and see!

I hope the tooth pulling goes smoothly and you heal quickly. Enjoy the volunteer luncheon on Wednesday and choose food wisely both for weight loss and the tooth!
