Took the plunge
Several years ago, before we started TTC one of my good friends here ended up getting pregnant and giving birth at the Women's Birth and Wellness center, the only birth center in our area. She really loved it and recommended it to me when we decided we were going to try for a baby. I didn't have a GYN at the time because I had just gotten out of grad school so I decided to go and check it out. I started to go there to see them for my primary care and women's needs etc... and consulted them when we started to have trouble TTC. The center requires a tour before anyone is accepted to give birth there and I have been holding off for over two years. I don't know why I kept holding back and not making the appointment for the tour but I finally did and we just went on it tonight. I don't know if I was subconsciously holding back because I knew we would have trouble getting pregnant, or if taking the tour signals that I will be pregnant soon, but I'm glad that we finally went on the tour and at the very least I can check it off my list.
I now have a house, have a job that seems like it should be very secure starting on the 27th and we have had dog #2 for about 7 months. My sister is also pregnant and I had a lot of dreams that we would be pregnant at the same time. Either way it's something that gives me hope.

I am so proud of you. I found myself planning my entire life on what if\'s, instead of just doing what felt right. you can\'t hold back \"in case you get preggo\" and you can\'t hold back \"in case you don\'t\". I am also so glad to hear that you have a stable job opportunity! I was really worried when you said your office was closing. Hugs!
I think it\'s great you took the plunge! And congrats on the new job!!
Thanks Ladies,
It\'s definitely a big relief to be employed again! And I\'m glad I have the tour checked off my list, that is a big relief too because they fill up quickly.
